After creating accounts manually in the frontend user credentials can be sent by SMS, if you have entered a mobile number for the account. But sending of SMS is mostly used as registration method for self-ticketing, which can be configured an tested

This is the template currently used for the sending of SMS. Anything in brackets {} will be replaced by real values.
